Total closure of Marshal Tantawi's hub from Nasr towards New Cairo
The General Traffic Administration has announced a total closure of the Mentaer Tantawi hub, in the direction of Nasr City to New Cairo, with the link to the "Lighthouse" conference centre to carry out the Monorail project.
Facing any traffic densities The General Administration for the Passage of Cairo has designated the necessary traffic services to cope with any anticipated traffic condensate and traffic management, in conjunction with the completion of the train lift work with the Monorail project at the Mentor Tantawi hub in the direction of Nasr towards New Cairo with the link to the "Lighthouse" conference centre while maintaining service traffic.
Total closure of Marshal Tantawi axis The General Traffic Administration noted that this would require a total closure of the axis from 10 p.m. on Wednesday, 2021 113 hours until 6 a.m. on Thursday, 2021 114 hours, and from 10 p.m. on Thursday, 2021 114 hours until 12 p.m. on Friday, 2021 115 hours without disrupting traffic.
Designation of necessary traffic services For its part, the General Administration for the Passage of Cairo has identified the necessary traffic services and has coordinated with the implementing company to develop technical assistance and all equipment indicating the presence of works in the region to ensure the security and safety of citizens.
